The Basic Photography and Editing course is designed to provide beginners with a comprehensive introduction to the fundamental principles and techniques of photography, as well as the essential skills required for post-processing and editing. This course aims to equip students with the knowledge and practical abilities needed to take captivating photographs and enhance them using digital editing software.
A mix of activities including hands on work and practical in individual and group work.
Understand the basic principles of photography, including composition, lighting, exposure, and focus. Familiarize yourself with different types of cameras, lenses, and other essential photography equipment. Learn the techniques for controlling exposure, shutter speed, aperture, and ISO to achieve desired effects. Explore different lighting scenarios and learn how to use natural and artificial light to enhance your photographs. Gain an understanding of image composition, including the rule of thirds, leading lines, framing, and perspective. Acquire basic knowledge of post-processing techniques and digital editing software.
Learn how to enhance images through cropping, adjusting brightness and contrast, color correction, and basic retouching. Develop an eye for detail and aesthetics, and learn to analyze and critique your own work. Engage in practical assignments and hands-on exercises to apply the concepts learned during the course.
Sana Sultan is the owner and founder of FUSE Visual Production House. A company dedicated to the art of photography & videography. Sana began her career in 2012 with freelancing. In 2014 she landed her first official photography job at OK! Magazine, Pakistan. She later covered the entire winter festive fashion week with her team in 2015 and went on to work for HELLO! Pakistan, GRAZIA, T-edit, and many other publications while carrying on her freelance career as well. Ms. Sultan established FUSE visual production house in 2019, followed by the inauguration of her very own studio in July 2021. FUSE Academy a venture close to her heart was launched in August 2021, through FUSE Academy Ms. Sultan has educated and developed the knowledge and understanding of photography, videography, and retouching in the minds of young aspiring photographers through various workshops.
