Introduction

The Department of Media, Art & Design at Greenwich University is dedicated to advancing knowledge and skills in media, design, and creative technologies, preparing students to excel across digital, interactive, and traditional media platforms. School of Fashion

The Greenwich School of Fashion is a dynamic hub of creativity and innovation, offering specialized programs in fashion design, textile design, and fashion marketing and merchandising. It provides an inspiring environment where students refine their artistic vision while engaging with contemporary trends, digital advancements, and sustainable practices.


Through fashion shows, exhibitions, guest sessions, and industry collaborations, the school ensures valuable real-world exposure and networking opportunities. Strengthening its industry linkages, the school has established an MoU with renowned designer Yousuf Bashir Qureshi and collaborations with many fashion retailers and textile organizations, preparing students to excel in the evolving global fashion industry.

Greenwich University Journalists Association

GUJA is a student-driven platform that allows aspiring journalists to gain practical experience in reporting, media coverage, and community engagement. Through workshops, seminars, and media projects, students enhance their skills, network with professionals, and contribute to society. GUJA also offers scholarships and recognition for outstanding student journalists.

Literary Society

Encourages students to enhance writing, critical thinking, and communication skills through publications, workshops, and literary events, while creating opportunities to collaborate with industry professionals in content creation.

Greenwich Debate Forum

Enables students to engage in meaningful debates on national and socio-economic issues, collaborating with experts, policymakers, and industry leaders. Students gain practical experience in research, argumentation, and public discourse, preparing them to become informed and impactful.

Performing Arts & Film Society

Offers students practical experience in acting, directing, and filmmaking, organizing performances, screenings, and workshops in collaboration with creative industry professionals, allowing them to apply classroom learning in real-world contexts.

Music Society

Supports students in music composition, performance, and production, providing opportunities to work with industry mentors and participate in live events and recordings, bridging creative learning with professional exposure.

Photography Society

Develops students’ visual storytelling and technical photography skills, providing exposure through campus events, exhibitions, and projects in collaboration with professional photographers and media organizations.

Fashion Society

Allows students to explore fashion design, styling, and trend analysis, connecting academic learning with industry exposure through workshops, fashion shows, and collaborations with the School of Fashion and external partners.
