Karachi, June 05, 2023: National Institute of Maritime Affairs (NIMA), a National Think-Tank to broaden the scope of Maritime Research with its office situated at Bahria University, celebrated World Environment Day by organizing a Beach Cleaning Drive at Manora Beach. This activity aimed to raise awareness among students regarding the protection of the environment, the safety of marine life and the ecosystem, keeping the beach clean, planting mangroves, and careful disposal of plastic litter. The students of Greenwich University, participated in the event with great zeal and passion and played the role of responsible citizens by learning and teaching through their conduct, initiatives to save the environment, plant trees, and be careful while disposing of plastic litter.
