Karachi, October 16, 2023: St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design extended its exclusive invitation to Greenwich University School of Fashion as a distinguished member of the international jury for the Admiralty Needle Fashion, Art and Design Festival 2023. The event took place between October 16 to 20, 2023. This grand event promised to be a convergence of creativity and innovation on a global platform, bringing together over 15,000 young talents from Russia and 20 other countries including Pakistan. Accommodation during the festival was graciously provided by St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design, and guests were hosted at the Petro Palace Hotel, ensuring a comfortable and memorable stay in the vibrant city of St. Petersburg. Greenwich University School of Fashion took immense pride in announcing that its distinguished students namely, Tehami, Iman Iqbal, Samar Ahsan, Rumessa Malik, Ayesha Amir and Hafsa Mehtab from the Greenwich School of Fashion have achieved a remarkable milestone by having their designs selected for the prestigious Admiralty Needle Fashion and Design Festival 2023 in Russia. The festival showcased a staggering collection of over 17,000 sensational clothing designs, reflecting the creative prowess of the young talents. In a momentous development, Mr. Noor Hassan, Program Coordinator of the Fashion Department at Greenwich University, was selected to represent the university as an International Juror at the distinguished "Admiralty Needle" Fashion and Design Festival in Russia. This prestigious opportunity was made possible through the collaboration of the esteemed St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design and the Russian House in Karachi. Greenwich University took great honor in being the sole representative of Pakistan at the Admiralty Needle Festival, affirming its dedication to nurturing and showcasing emerging talent on the international stage. This was an exceptional occasion for the university and a testament to the caliber of its students and faculty. It was not just a festival but a fashion show, and Greenwich’s students' designs graced the ramp, leaving an indelible mark on this prestigious event.
