Kashmir Day
Updated on: Sunday 05/02/2023
Karachi, February 05, 2023: Dr. Tahira Tariq along with her students represented Greenwich University in the Kashmir Solidarity Rally held by the World Kashmir Forum. Since the partition of the Indian subcontinent, the freedom of Kashmir has been an issue of conflict between India and Pakistan. The conflict between the two countries increases with every passing year and has sparked several wars between the two nations. Kashmir Solidarity Day is observed on February 5 every year across Pakistan to portray solidarity with the Kashmiri people because thousands of Kashmiris have lost their lives in their struggle for a separate identity in the world’s map.
The rally was taken out from Tibet Center M.A. Jinnah Road to the Mazar-e-Quaid in favor of all our Kashmiri brothers and sisters. Also, Greenwich University’s Fraternity, Students, guests, and all the participants also prayed for Kashmir and Kashmiris.
