BA in Urdu- Under this course, one requires to learn the various aspects of the language. This includes the way of writing, reading as well use and meaning of various words. English Romanticism beings in 1798, with the publication of Wordsworth and Coleridge’s. the Lyrical Ballads’ and ends in 1832 with Walter Scott’s death. William Blake and Robert Burns also belong to this literary genre. English Romanticism is revolt of the English imagination against the neo-classical reason. The keywords are nature and imagination. The romantics believed in Literature being a sort of Mission to be carried out in order to reach the wisdom of universe. Wordsworth and Coleridge are the most representative. Other great Romantic poets to be taught are John Keats, P.B. Schelley and G.G. Byron.
